As the property market began to regain strength after 9/11 in Manhattan, a new breed of residential developments begun in the city, boasting a multitude of amenities and the usage of branded designer, mostly credited to the Sunshine Group. The marketing and sales agent Sunshine Group put the development team together for the conversion of the reputed 1859 Customs House on 55 Wall Street into luxury Apartments. The team included restaurateur Giuseppi Cipriani, developer and Architect Calvin Tsao.
